LEGAL NOTICE The Kitsap County Division of Aging and Long Term Care Advisory Council will conduct a public hearing on the 2011 Budget for the 2008-2011 Area Plan for Aging Services at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 15, 2010, at the Kitsap County Consolidated Housing Authority, 2nd Floor Conference Room, 9307 Bayshore Dr., Silverdale, Washington. The public is encouraged to attend. The Area Plan identifies needs of older persons, sets priorities and specifies the community-based social, health and nutritional services to be provided with grant funds or otherwise developed and coordinated with Kitsap County. The Division of Aging & Long Term Care is required to annually submit area plan budget documents which project expenditures, revenues, persons served, and units of service to be provided. Programs funded under the plan include: Senior Information and Assistance, Caregiver Support Services, Kinship Caregiver Support, Case Management, Home Delivered Meals, Congregate Nutrition, Nutrition Education, Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Program, Legal Services, Senior Counseling, Respite Care, Adult Day Health, Medication Management, and Statewide Health Insurance Benefits Advisors (SHIBA). NOTICE OF APPLICATION National Historic Town, Fully Contained Community and Development Agreement Proposed Revisions Notice is hereby given of the application of the Kitsap County proposed revisions to Kitsap County Comprehensive Plan and Kitsap County Code Titles 17 (Zoning) and 21 (Land Use Development Procedures) as it relates to National Historic Towns, Fully Contained Communities and Development Agreements. This notice is also to inform interested parties, affected tribes and agencies of an upcoming Planning Commission public hearing and to invite all interested parties to provide comment orally at the hearing or by written statement. DESCRIPTION OF PROPOSAL: The proposal is to adopt amendments to the Kitsap County Comprehensive Plan and Kitsap County Code Titles 17 (Zoning) and 21 (Land Use Development Procedures) as it relates to National Historic Towns, Fully Contained Communities and Development Agreements. The proposed amendments include goals and policies, as well as specific code provisions on general criteria and procedures for the future establishment of a National Historic Town, Fully Contained Community and Development Agreements in Kitsap County. PROPONENT: Kitsap County. LOCATION OF PROPOSAL: Kitsap County LEAD AGENCY: Kitsap County Special Projects. DOCUMENT AVAILABILITY: Copies of previous environmental review documents are available at the Department of Community Development. Copies of the proposed amendments and other related documents are available for review at the Kitsap County Commissioners Office or at www.nklp.org. A staff report will also be posted on the project website seven days prior to the first Kitsap County Planning Commission public hearing. Kitsap County will also issue a State Environmental Policy Act (SEPA) determination in accordance to Kitsap County Code and state law. This determination will be made available seven days prior to the Planning Commission's public hearing noted below. PUBLIC REVIEW AND COMMENT: Agencies, affected tribes, and members of the public are invited to comment on the proposed amendments through a 60-day comment period. The 60-day comment period is established from September 7, 2010 to November 8, 2010.
